A British Chartered Civil Environmental engineer by training. Bringing 30 years of experience and innovative thinking to help shape and drive byoGuard forward. Proven track record of winning and delivering some of the largest engineering and development projects in Asia.
Ir. Dr. Alex CHAN
Head of Engineering
Established as leading industry expert on airflow control and filtration since SARs, Alex is also a SVP of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences. Brings deep industry knowledge and real-world application to ensure byoGuard’s engineering sciences solutions are always reliable and robust.
​David Carey MSc
Regional CEO (EMEA+) and Founder
Brings over 45 years international corporate and board experience in the built environment, based in the UK, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Riyadh.
David's core focus is on byoGuard’s Group governance, plus ICT & cyber security, and business expansion across the EMEA+ region. He holds an MSc from Heriot-Watt University and is also pursuing a PhD.
Jan Kruit
Regional CEO (APAC+)
​Jan is a senior Project Management expert, with an outstanding international commercial pedigree, developed over 35 years in the built environment. For byoGuard, his extensive APAC+ network will be his core regional focus during our forthcoming case studies and site trial phase. Jan leads on the ESG aspects of energy savings and water purification, safeguarding occupants and owners of all building types.
David Newton
CFO
With over 20 years of experience in Asia-Pacific CFO roles,, David is responsible for ensuring byoGuard has financial rigour across all aspects of the business from budgets to forecasts. David is an FCA, qualifying with KPMG, London, and has a BA in mathematics from Oxford.
